pROGRAMS
Every NFL Combine and Pro Day comes down to a short list of testing events: the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, bench press, and position-specific drills scouts use to evaluate you on the field. Impact Sports Performance's NFL Combine prep programs are built around those exact tests, not a generic offseason plan.
You train directly with Jim Kielbaso, the coach the University of Michigan Football Program hired to prepare its own graduating seniors for the NFL Combine and Pro Day the first time a Power 5 program brought in an outside coach for this work. Every athlete in this program works with Jim every day, not occasionally and not through an assistant.
Each program below targets a specific part of the Combine testing battery. Most athletes train across all four in a structured block leading into their Combine invite or Pro Day; some focus on one or two areas based on their evaluation.

01
Improve start mechanics, acceleration, and top-end speed for the 40-yard dash. Training addresses the phases scouts actually watch: your stance and first-step quickness out of the blocks, acceleration mechanics through the first 10-20 yards, and top-end speed mechanics through the finish.

02
Tests it prepares you for: Vertical Jump, Broad Jump
Build the explosive force behind the vertical jump and broad jump. Training focuses on takeoff mechanics, landing control, and the horizontal and vertical power production scouts score at the Combine and Pro Day.

03
Tests it prepares you for: Bench Press, Full-Body Testing
Develop the strength that shows up in bench press reps and full-body testing. Training builds the muscular endurance and upper-body power the Combine bench press test measures, alongside overall strength development.

04
Tests it prepares you for: Position Drills, Position Testing
Work with position coaches to prepare for the technical, sport-specific drills scouts evaluate at your position. Training covers the technical preparation and scout-evaluation criteria specific to what you'll be asked to do on the field at your Combine or Pro Day.
